Straight math at $7 a square foot, the same number I would give you standing in your garage. Heavily pitted or cracked slabs can add a little, and quartz or small-flake systems need a double broadcast, so they run more. I tell you that up front, never after.

The Process

Three steps.
Done right.

Most of the work is in the first step, and it is the step people skip. We grind the slab open so the coating bonds into the concrete instead of sitting on top of it. Everything after that is just doing it patiently and not rushing the cure.

Flake Colors

Pick your floor.

These thirteen genuine Torginol blends are the colors we keep in stock. Hover to see the loose flake, or tap to view it larger.

Want something outside these thirteen? We can order any color from Torginol's full range on request, just ask at the estimate. Standard floors use a 1/4 inch flake. We also run 1/16 inch and quartz for a finer, more uniform look. Those need a double broadcast, so they cost a little more, and we will tell you exactly how much before we start.

Basecamp Coatings

Everyone needs a basecamp. The garage where the bikes hang and the truck gets loaded. The bench where things get fixed, not replaced. The corner gym, the project bay, the place you go to prepare, and to wind down. Spaces like that are sacred. They deserve a floor built to hold them.

Meet the Owner

Hey, I'm Keegan.

I'm an Idaho native and have called just about every corner of the Treasure Valley home. Through every move, I've learned the same thing: the best spaces aren't defined by square footage, but by the spaces you make your own.

That's the idea behind Basecamp Coatings.

I learned this trade alongside some of the Treasure Valley's best craftsmen before starting my own company built on quality, integrity, and pride in every detail. Whether it's your garage, shop, or patio, I believe your basecamp should reflect the life you build from it.

When you call or message the number below, you're working directly with me from the first message to the final coat.

Why “Basecamp”

Every trip starts in the garage.

Backcountry trips in the Sawtooths, gravel miles, a truck that earns its keep. Every one of those starts and ends in the same place. Basecamp: where the gear gets staged, fixed, and put back where it belongs. That's the standard your floor gets built to: gear-proof, winter-proof, ready for whatever you're loading up next.

FAQ

Straight answers.

How much does a garage floor coating cost?

$7 per square foot, all-inclusive: prep, crack and chip repair, polyurea base, full-broadcast flake, polyaspartic topcoat, materials, labor, and cleanup. Most two-car garages land between $2,800 and $4,000, and most three-car garages between $4,200 and $5,600. Want the garage emptied first? Full move-out and move-back service is $1 per square foot.

Polyurea, polyaspartic, or epoxy, which do you use?

For garages we major on a polyurea base sealed with a polyaspartic topcoat. Polyurea grips the slab with a fast, flexible, high-build bond, and polyaspartic is UV-stable and abrasion-resistant, so it belongs on top where it won't yellow, peel, or chalk. On exterior slabs we run polyaspartic for both the base and the topcoat. Epoxy is a strong, thick base but yellows under UV, so we save it mainly for commercial and industrial floors.

How long does installation take?

Most garages run one to two days depending on the size of the slab and how much repair it needs. Larger shops and commercial floors take longer. We walk you through the exact timeline before we start, and we tell you when you can walk on it and when you can park on it.

Do you only coat garages?

Any concrete slab. Shops, pole barns, basements, home gyms, patios, and porches across the Treasure Valley. If it's bare concrete, we can turn it into a finished floor.

Will it peel, yellow, or wear through?

That's what the prep is for. We diamond-grind the slab for a mechanical bond and seal it with a UV-stable polyaspartic topcoat designed to resist yellowing, peeling, and hot-tire pickup. And if something's not right, we make it right.

What areas do you serve?

Based in Nampa, serving the entire Treasure Valley: Boise, Meridian, Caldwell, Eagle, Star, Kuna, and Middleton, with plans to expand across Idaho.

“Best decision we made for the garage. These guys did it right.”
