Whatever your basecamp looks like.
Garage Floor Coatings
Daily drivers, gear walls, road salt, dropped tools. Full-broadcast flake systems built for the hardest-working room in the house.
Shops & Commercial
Pole barns, detail bays, work shops, retail floors. High-build coatings rated for equipment, forklifts, and foot traffic.
Basements & Home Gyms
Turn a bare slab into a finished gym, studio, or rec room — a clean floor that makes the whole space feel intentional.
Patios & Porches
UV-stable outdoor systems that won't fade, peel, or turn slick when wet. Built for Idaho summers and Idaho winters.
The Process
Five layers.
Zero shortcuts.
Clean, efficient, and built for durability. We repair and prep the surface, grind it for strong adhesion, apply a premium epoxy or polyaspartic base coat, add your decorative flake, and finish with a UV-stable polyaspartic topcoat. The result: a beautiful, long-lasting floor that's ready to use in as little as a day.
Flake Colors
See them in your light.
We bring samples to your estimate. Colors read differently in your space — the only way to choose is to see them on your slab.
Basecamp Coatings
Everyone needs a basecamp. The garage where the bikes hang and the truck gets loaded. The bench where things get fixed, not replaced. The corner gym, the project bay, the place you go to prepare — and to wind down. Spaces like that are sacred. They deserve a floor built to hold them.
The Founder
A real name
behind the work.
To build floors that outlast everything stored on top of them — and make every job worth talking about.
I'm Keegan. I grew up in Idaho, but it took me years to fall for what's outside my own door — the gravel roads, the trailheads, the alpine lakes. What I've always loved is the gear and the tinkering: tuning the bike, fixing the thing instead of replacing it, keeping a space where everything has its place. Basecamp Coatings was born out of that.
I started Basecamp to do this right — and to build a crew that holds the same standard I do. However we grow, every floor under this name gets the same promise: quoted straight, prepped right, installed clean. No franchise script, no call center. A local name you can actually reach.
Founded in the Treasure Valley, Idaho.
Why “Basecamp”
Every trip starts in the garage.
Backcountry trips in the Sawtooths, gravel miles, a truck that earns its keep — every one of those starts and ends in the same place. Basecamp: where the gear gets staged, fixed, and put back where it belongs. That's the standard your floor gets built to — gear-proof, winter-proof, ready for whatever you're loading up next.

FAQ
Straight answers.
How much does a garage floor coating cost?
$7 per square foot, all-inclusive — prep, crack and chip repair, epoxy base, full-broadcast flake, polyaspartic topcoat, materials, labor, and cleanup. A typical two-car garage (~450 sq ft) runs around $3,150. Want the garage emptied first? Full move-out/move-back service is $1 per square foot.
Epoxy or polyaspartic — which is better?
Both, in the right order. Epoxy is a strong, thick-build base but yellows under UV. Polyaspartic is UV-stable and abrasion-resistant but belongs on top. We run an epoxy base for adhesion and build, sealed with a polyaspartic topcoat that won't yellow, peel, or chalk.
How long does installation take?
Most garages are done in a single day — larger shops and commercial floors can take longer, and we'll tell you exactly what to expect up front. Light foot traffic the next morning; park on it within 48 hours.
Do you only coat garages?
No — any concrete slab. Shops, pole barns, basements, home gyms, patios, and porches across the Treasure Valley. If it's bare concrete, we can turn it into a finished floor.
Will it peel, yellow, or wear through?
That's what the prep is for. We diamond-grind the slab for a mechanical bond — no acid etching — and seal it with a UV-stable polyaspartic topcoat designed to resist yellowing, peeling, and hot-tire pickup. And if something's not right, we make it right.
What areas do you serve?
Based in Nampa, serving the entire Treasure Valley — Boise, Meridian, Caldwell, Eagle, Star, Kuna, and Middleton — with plans to expand across Idaho.
“Best decision we made for the garage. These guys did it right.”
